Since 2004, Chest Candy — a veteran-owned business in Hawaii with over 22 years of military experience — has been hand-building perfect, regulation-exact thin ribbon sets and mounted medals for thousands of Marines, Sailors (yes, I've done a few Airmen and Soldiers) and their families.I’ve been in your boots — I’ve seen uneven racks, crooked alignment, wrinkled fabrics, hot-glue disasters, super-glue residue, and devices bent from those old metal prongs — all worn with pride anyway because that’s what we do. I’ve also dropped way too much money on “professional” mounts that came back wrong, sloppy, or just plain embarrassing. I felt that pain — so I decided to change that.That’s why Chest Candy exists. My hard-won, military-grade attention to detail—forged over twenty years in uniform—means I obsess over every ribbon, every device, every spacing and regulation, across every branch. If I wouldn’t wear it on my own chest with absolute pride, it doesn’t leave my shop.Our favorite moment?
